TASUED MANAGEMENT GIVES OUT ASSISTANCE TO RELIGIOUS GROUPS IN THE CAMPUS
The Management of Tai Solarin University of Education Ijagun Ogun State has doled out #2million to various religious groups in the campus in appreciation of their roles towards ensuring peace within the University environment.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Segun Awonusi, during the presentation to various religious groups, thanked them for their prayers since he assumed office, adding that the University management will continue to appreciate their cooperation and support in the sustainance of peace within the campus.
“Our administration will always support and give assistance to the religious groups within the campus to carry out some of their projects. I urge you to organize more activities for staff and students”.
The TASUED Management presented cheque of #1.5milllon to the Muslim Community, #1million to Protestants Christian Community and #500,000 to the Catholic Christian Community.
In appreciation of University gesture, the Chairman of TASUED Muslim Community, Dr. Alani Seriki expressed profound gratitude to the University management in recognizing the efforts of all the religious groups in the campus and therefore promised that they would continue to pray for peace to reign in the University.
In his response, the Chairman of Christian Community Rev. Femi Fatade thanked the management for the gesture, noting that the donation will go a long way to do some of their projects.
