The University Management has once again wielded the big stick of the institution in order to stem the tide of insecurity on the campus and to position the institution as one of the most peaceful universities in Nigeria. Nofiu Temitayo, a 300 level student in History and Diplomatic Studies Department with matriculation number - 20050305138 was suspended indefinitely from the University for Gross Misconduct. On the other hand, Adebanjo Adeleke Adesola, a 100 level NCE student in English/Social Studies was
expelled for misconduct and cult-related activities because in the words of the management "Adebanjo's studentship of the University has been found to be inimical to the well being of the students' populace". The duo of Nofiu and Adebanjo are expected to hand over the University property in their possession to the Dean, Student Affairs for clearance. |
