There will be another beehive of activity at the Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State as the institution holds its second Convocation between Tuesday 8^th and Thursday 10^th March, 2011.

According to the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Gbenga Omilola, the programme will start on Tuesday 8^th March, 2011 with the 3^rd A.S Odutola Memorial Handball Competition at the TASUED Sports Complex, Ijagun main campus beginning at 3.00pm while the Vice Chancellor’s Football Cup and Relay Race Competition will hold at the same venue.

Graduands are enjoined to collect academic gowns at the University Academic Office on Thursday 24^th February, 2011.In addition to this, a cocktail will be held for the graduands at the TASUED Guest House, opposite Muslim College, Ijebu Ode at 5.00pm on Wednesday 9^th March, 2011.

The Grand finale will however take place on Thursday 10^th March with the conferment of honorary doctorate degree on eminent Nigerians and award of Bachelor Degree and Post- Graduate Diploma in Education to the graduands.

His Excellency, Godswill Akpabio, the Executive Governor of Akwa-Ibom State will deliver the Convocation Lecture.

The Visitor to the University and Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and other distinguished personalities are expected to grace the ceremony.
